Jerker Fick: Pharmaceuticals in the environment

My research concerns the fate and effects of pharmaceuticals in the environmental. Residues of pharmaceuticals have been recognized as a group of emerging organic contaminants that have the potential to effect exposed aquatic organisms in the environment.

Jerker FickMy research projects focus both on the fate of pharmaceuticals in various environmental matrices and the effects they cause. Many of the projects are interdisciplinary and involve scientist from different fields.
