Mats Tysklind: Transport and fate of anthropogenic substances in the soil system
The understanding of transport and transformation processes is crucial in order to assess the final fate and potential risk of anthropogenic substances in the environment.
My research focus on the environmental behavior of e.g. halogenated aromatic compounds and by studies of transport processes and fate in the soil, water and air compartments. The interactions between inherent physico-chemical properties of anthropogenic compounds and the surrounding environmental matrices, including biota are of special interest.
